Tahseen is an LCS Accredited Certifier, and its Lean programs are delivered by an LCS Approved Trainer.
What it covers
Implementation & Design
Plan improvement projects aligned to strategy and choose the right Lean approach for each; deploy resources, communicate with the team, and facilitate and sustain the change.
Implementation & Leadership
The same work at a higher level of responsibility: lead business-critical projects, mentor and support others, and engage stakeholders at every level.
Outcomes and assessment
After the program, a participant can
- Deploy strategy into improvement (Hoshin Kanri, catch-ball)
- Set the performance measures that show whether it is working
- Lead Lean teams and draw on complementary approaches, Six Sigma among them
- Sustain change across the organisation and, where it applies, the supply chain
How it is assessed and certified
Knowledge, by a test or an exam. Practice, by an implementation report on an improvement project with strategic weight, such as an A3 with its evidence; at 2b an interview or a presentation may be added. Those who pass are certified through the LCS.
How long it takes
The LCS indicates about 40 hours of guided learning. We set the days and the pace with you.
If your organisation thinks in belts: in depth, this program is comparable to a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. The certificate is the LCS Certificate of Lean Competency, not a Six Sigma belt.
